Message from the Director
At Woodroffe Child Care Centre we place a strong emphasis on creating a warm, home-like environment, where our families, children and educators feel like one big family.
We create an environment where everyone feels respected and understood, and are given the opportunity to express themselves and share ideas.
We place importance on creating a nurturing, nature-based environment where natural resources are used throughout the centre and in the children’s learning and development through play.
Our long-term, dedicated educators have genuine love and care for our children, families and the Centre which shines through making Woodroffe Child Care Centre the place to be!
Our Child Care Community
We are a 50-place, community-based, non-profit child care Centre. We are very proud of our home-away-from-home where we welcome and include our families in our day-to-day care. We understand that leaving your little ones in care is an important decision that is never easy, so we work hard to ensure your time with us is happy and supportive.
Our amazing team of educators have been with us for many years and have a genuine love and passion for our Centre, for education and for children. We support and collaborate with our families to raise and educate happy and healthy children, ensuring we nurture and develop their individual personalities. We are very proud to have had parents who were cared for at the Centre as children return to have their children enrolled with us, and families stay with us for each of their children.
We also love to support our wider community and have many incursions from different local services, such as the public library, gardeners, and children’s performers.
Woodroffe Child Care is for those special families who understand children are nurtured and thrive in an environment full of fun and laughter where they can explore and play in nature and learn by the heart!

Music and Yoga session
At Woodroffe Child Care Centre, we run a music and yoga program two days a week.
Music and movement encourages children in all areas of development socially, cognitively emotionally and physically.
Children develop the understanding of left and right, up and down, in and out, through climbing, balancing, jumping, skipping and movement to music.
Music allows children of all levels and cultural backgrounds to join in and participate.
